Cecilia Garcia

Cecilia Garcia serves as special advisor on broadband adoption for SSAI. Recently retired as executive director of the Benton Foundation, her work focused on federal telecommunications policy, and technological concerns of the elderly. Cecilia is an Emmy award-winning television producer (1981); served on Capitol Hill as a Communications Director – and as an advocate for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute, the general Hispanic community.

A native Detroiter, Cecilia graduated from Wayne State University in Detroit and resides in Washington, D.C.
